Marriage assumed from brth of Thomas entry in the Parish Register. It may be a different William and there is currently no evidence either way.

Frederick Wint

Email received by Graham George Hawker from Alan Wint on 28 December 2002:
"Some of the names mentioned in your
correspondence are known to me and my father Dennis John Wint My late
grandfather was Frank Wint, older brother of Harold Wint My Dad can
remember meeting Harold Wint and the children Ronald and Jean. I visited
Jean in Streetly some years ago when I first started researching and I
think I wrote or called Ronald at about the same time.
Harold was one of eight children,
Walter, Hannah, Frederick William, Frank, Joseph, Edith, Harold and John
(Jack). My own grandfather had died when I started and it was only after a
number of talks with my Dad that he mentioned uncle Jack was still alive,
he died in 1984. I visited him and his son many times and he gave me a lot
of information some of which I still have to check. Jack also told me that
his father Frederick Wint re married and that there was a second Wint
family living in the Walsall area. This was a surprise to say the least as
my father had never mentioned it and none of them were in the telephone
directory at that time. I have since made contact with them and that's
another story as they say .
I have traced our line back to Joseph
Wint born in Wetton Derbyshire 24/7/1676, with one dubious connection in
1806, but have a lot more data that has yet to be connected, Unfortunately
my data is not so well stored or presented as yours but this renewed
interest may correct that."
