Posting on Perry Family genealogy forum of genforum.genealogy.com on 8 May 2004:
"Dear Rona
I am currently searching for my family with the surname Perry too and I believe they were from Dudley, Worcs and Rowley Regis, Staffs.
I haven't got a lot of info on dates at all at the moment but I do know that my Great Great Grandmother was Susannah Perry before she married James H Shakespeare. I do not even know birth/death dates but I do know that they had 8 children (Ada B, Alexander, Charles H, Elizabeth, James, James H Jnr, Susannah, Miriam = my great grandmother).
If you find out anymore I would really love to hear from you. I will forward any info I receive to you also.
Regards Jo"
